Apple’s latest Pro models bring changes to photography, performance and battery life. Here are the highlights from the official announcement.
The 48MP Fusion Main camera introduces variable aperture, adjusting how much light reaches the sensor and how much of a scene stays in focus. New Pro controls give photographers manual access to aperture, shutter speed and white balance.
A20 Pro uses a 2-nanometre process and works with a redesigned vapour chamber. Apple reports up to 40% faster graphics than A19 Pro, plus stronger sustained performance during demanding tasks.
The redesigned Dynamic Island can display three Live Activities at once. Both phones run iOS 27, with Siri AI rolling out in beta; availability depends on language and region.
Apple rates the eSIM-only models for up to 36 hours of video playback on Pro and 45 hours on Pro Max. Actual battery life varies with the model, settings and usage.
Both models offer the core Pro features. Choose the size that suits how you use your phone.

Both feature Super Retina XDR displays with ProMotion up to 120Hz. Apple’s finishes are black, silver, glacier and burgundy. Phone pre-orders begin 12 September, with availability from 18 September 2026.
